Energy Controls for HVAC, Lighting, and Electrical Devices
Advanced technologies that control and monitor thermostats, HVAC units, lights and other electrical devices can cost-effectively lower facility energy use. Paybacks can be under two years in many cases.

PES offers control systems that provide remote, web-enabled monitoring of energy and electrical equipment in a number of discrete zones throughout a facility or across an enterprise. These control systems can also shed equipment loads during peak, high cost power periods.

Economic dispatch modeling

  • Integrating business needs with available energy supply and production options.
  • Maximizing options to provide the most cost effective energy procurement and supply for individual locations, campuses and enterprises.
  • Design and implementation of management decision support tools to assist in the control, scheduling and operation of energy assets.
  • Development and real time calculation of performance metrics the integration of these metrics with user/operator interface systems to provide usable feedback to decision makers.

Security and Reliability

  • Evaluate and implement improvements to support more reliable operations.
  • Identify and address security concerns related to energy infrastructure, supply and operation.

Monitoring and Process Benchmarking

  • Work with organizations to develop and implement comprehensive monitoring programs.
  • Provide analysis of performance data on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist in the development of benchmarking tools to support the continuous improvement process.

Innovative Technology

  • Work with energy users to integrate new technologies into the existing energy infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities and execute pilot projects to provide proof of concept for new technologies.
  • Assist in enterprise rollout of technologies following the completion of the proof of concept testing.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of continuous energy monitoring and efficiency improvement:
        - Provide ability to measure performance and compare dissimilar systems with common metrics.
        - Record opportunities to maintain or enhance energy conservation and efficiency and improve human performance.
